LEADING FROM THE CENTER

Authentic Leadership Center’s flagship training is a two-session, 8-day supportive and transformative journey to nudge you back to the center of yourself – where true leadership begins. A leader is often charismatic or inspiring because they’ve mined the wealth of their own potential, and have learned to lead their life from the greatness within. ALC’s team of facilitators and coaches can help you do that.

GOING DEEPER

This advanced experiential workshop is for graduates of Leading from the Center or similar training. While similar to the Leading from the Center 5-Day session, this training provides an intensive opportunity for experienced participants to actively define the work they wish to do and how they will do it. The workshop takes place in a relaxed, community-style atmosphere.

Men’s Retreat

June 19-20, 2026

Chris Mathe and Lou Zweier host the Men’s Retreat. This one-and-a-half day workshop gives participants an opportunity to work on any of the many issues facing men today. The retreat includes organized activities and plenty of personal time to consider what it means to be a man in today’s society.

We will meet at the Center at 6pm on Friday for about 3 hours and then meet again on Saturday at 9am through about 4pm with an hour break for lunch. Leading from the Center graduation is not a pre-requisite to attend. Any man, 13 years or older is welcome to join.

women’s retreat

September 18 – 20, 2026

Join Ayleen O’Connell, Maril Cardwell, Gayle Mathe, and Charise Spencer on ALC’s 2026 Women’s Retreat. The weekend begins early evening on Friday and ends Sunday morning. Meals will be made and eaten together and there will be ample group processing and personal time. Space is limited so we encourage you to register soon!

coach trainings

Designated Saturdays from 9 a.m. to Noon

Interested in being a volunteer coach for the Authentic Leadership Training? The ALC Team is committed to providing ongoing coach training and skill-building as an important way to help people continue their growth and expand their emotional and technical abilities.

A half-day of coach skill-building takes place from 9 a.m. to about noon at the ALC Center about 5 times per year. Offered free of charge, these training days are led by the ALC Team and mix lectures, group interaction, and role-playing to increase skills in listening, coaching, facilitation, conflict management, and more.
